I felt guilty about consciously lengthening my text response time. Replying to emails when I felt like it, not when I first received them. Taking longer to conference with myself instead offering a commitment on spot.
Most days, I wanted to sit in my pajamas. Creating. I craved selective and time-framed interaction. A steady flow of "Hell Yes!" opportunities. Lots of space to be alone.
I was an introvert. I needed down time, all the time. One part napping. Two parts craft. Re-energizing to be social. Strongest in solo pursuits. Often misunderstood. Starting to care less. Happy with my patch of sunlight, a kitty cat for company and stories I could write forever.
