Stepping back to reflect, the biggest shift I've made this year is caring how I feel. I've been able to see beyond instruction and chuck the need to control every step.
A few years ago, I mapped out a whiteboard "SelfLoving Business Blueprint" with multiple income streams, strategic content production and goals in the form of dollar amounts. What I didn't ask myself then was, "How do I feel about this? Is this what I want to do? Is this what my heart has to say?" It took hordes of forced work, frustration and continued crash-and-burn moments for me to finally decide to demolish a system compiled from other people's ideas of success. I saw how little that work meant when it wasn't aligned with my true desires.
Things show up different than we plan, magic loves flexibility and life is meant to be enjoyed, even with the shit bits. My time, my creativity and spirit - are so precious, why dump on them with other people's ideas of how to live or work or be? If I'm feeling good about how I do things, I want to be able to say, "I could give a fuck less about any opinion outside my own, because I trust myself."
I can only imagine how the world would explode with light if every person embodied a Solo Revolution with the single aim of feeling good in their own life.
